DSA® Technology

DSA® (Dimensionally Stable Anodes) are De Nora's flagship product — proprietary catalytic coatings on titanium or other metallic substrates. They revolutionized the chlor-alkali industry by replacing graphite anodes, offering superior efficiency, durability, and environmental performance. DSA® technology is used in over 100 markets globally.

Gas Diffusion Electrodes

De Nora's advanced Gas Diffusion Electrodes (GDEs) are crucial components in fuel cells and electrolyzers. They enhance the efficiency of electrochemical reactions by optimizing the three-phase boundary between gas, liquid, and solid catalyst.

Water Technologies

De Nora Water Technologies provides comprehensive solutions for water and wastewater treatment, including electrochlorination, UV disinfection, advanced oxidation, filtration, and marine applications. The company is a global leader in on-site sodium hypochlorite generation.

Electrochlorination

De Nora is the global leader in electrochlorination technology, which generates sodium hypochlorite on-site from saltwater or brine. This eliminates the need to transport and store hazardous chlorine gas, providing a safer and more sustainable disinfection solution for municipal water, cooling water, and industrial applications.

BALPURE® Marine

BALPURE® is De Nora's ballast water treatment system for the marine industry. It uses electrochlorination to treat ballast water, preventing the spread of invasive aquatic species. The system complies with IMO D-2 standards and is type-approved by major classification societies.

PFAS Removal

De Nora is expanding into PFAS (forever chemicals) removal solutions, leveraging its electrochemical expertise to develop advanced treatment technologies for these persistent environmental contaminants.

Energy Transition & Hydrogen

De Nora is a major player in the green hydrogen economy, providing critical components for both alkaline water electrolysis (AWE) and proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis. The company has delivered technologies for major green hydrogen projects totaling 3.5 GW since 2022.
